Shipwreck Diving

Activity Title

Shipwreck Diving

Explore Beneath History

Beneath the turquoise waters of the Riviera Maya lie purpose-sunk vessels now transformed into thriving artificial reefs. Shipwreck diving in Playa del Carmen and Puerto Morelos offers a unique blend of structure, marine life, and underwater exploration — where history and ocean life meet.

These wrecks are now home to schools of snapper and grunts, barracuda, rays, moray eels and other marine life. Soft corals and sponges have slowly reclaimed the steel, creating a striking contrast between structure and reef life.

With Dive Vocation, this is never a rushed drop-and-go dive. We take time to brief thoroughly, plan properly, and guide you calmly around the wreck, allowing you to explore safely and confidently.

All dives are conducted conservatively, with depth, gas planning, and diver comfort prioritized at every stage.
